I love PhaserJS by Photonstorm. One of the best and most complete engine you can get for creating games with HTML5.
I’ve created a Boilerplate Project in February 2014 based on Grunt and a lot of tasks like concat, minimize etc. That’s nice, if you want to create a game to be distributed sometime. For me the setup was to “complicated” when I just want to create a small prototype or proof of concept.
2007: Steve Jobs announced the first iPhone. No SDK! Everything is HTML5! Revolutionary. But what do we have now? Native Apps in native App Stores. I love HTML5 based games. What should I do if I want my game to be distributed on various App Stores?
There are several possible solutions:
Install the App using HTML5 WebApp Manifest and put your game on home screen. Write a “wrapper” app using a WebView.
